Ledbury History
Ledbury unfolding and evolving is a fascinating story.
We are compiling a series of photo-books, each providing a potted history of the more notable places, buildings and other topics of interest. Each photo-book is a pdf, that you are welcome to download, free of charge, to read at your leisure; and, if you like, keep for future reference and/or emailing to family and friends.
Each pdf (with bookmarks and index for searching) has been created using Adobe Acrobat Pro 9. To avoid download problems and for best results, please ensure you have installed the latest version of Acrobat Reader, which can be obtained free of charge from Adobe by clicking here or the icon:
You may save each photo-book on your computer (PC: Shift+Ctrl+S Mac: Shift+Cmd+S) and then open the file.
After you have saved the photo-book, you may like to use Adobe Digital Editions software: a clean, well-organized interface, expressly designed for reading digital publications. You can use the reading view to view bookmarks, annotations, and a table of contents. Display your pdf files in a double-page, single page, or fit-to-width view — or specify your own custom fit. You can also increase and decrease text size. Adobe Digital Editions is a free, lightweight application that takes less than a minute to download and install over a broadband connection. To download, please click here.
