The Society welcomes enquiries about local history, genealogy and similar matters, and we'll do our best to answer questions. Please note, however, the Society is run by volunteers, many of whom are not instantly available, so we may not be able to respond by return. Rest assured, someone will reply to you.
We receive a steady flow of enquiries and questions, many of which require a good deal of time and effort to answer. Although there is no obligation, the Society would much appreciate a donation (however small) in lieu of any time and effort given to answering questions. Ideally we'd like you to become a member. An impressive percentage of our membership does not live in Ledbury and District so that is no reason not to join. People join to keep in touch generally, to be supportive of the work of the Society, and because they have connections with Ledbury.
